Chambers will at all times abide by the Bar Code of Conduct when dealing with clients, both lay and professional. All barristers and staff will adhere to Chambers' Equality Policy when dealing with clients, colleagues, suppliers and members of the public.
All work carried out with clients will be on the basis of the written instructions received.
We seek to provide a high quality service to all our clients and to provide value for money. We aim to comply with the Practice Management Standards of the Bar Council in our dealings with lay and professional clients. All members are registered under the Data Protection Act. They all have professional indemnity insurance.
If at any time you experience difficulty in your dealings with any member of Chambers or staff, or have any comments to make, please contact Neil Vickers or Steven Diggles. We welcome and take seriously all comments from clients and have the appropriate internal procedures for addressing concerns.
Private client fees will be payable within 30 days of receipt of invoice, unless alternative terms have been agreed in advance.
Chambers expects all professional clients to advise them immediately of any change of circumstances or amendment to instructions already given.
Where a named barrister is unable to carry out the work, you will be consulted and, with your agreement, the case will be reallocated to another, appropriate, barrister.
We look forward to hearing from you.
