Kirstin completed a degree in mathematics before turning her intellectual capabilities towards law.  She is noted for her popularity with lay clients.  Her practical and friendly approach belies a calm and proficient skill within the courtroom.

Kirstin accepts instructions at all levels.  In the Crown Court she has conducted cases involving dishonesty, violence, drugs and sexual offences.  She has a particular interest in cases of a sexual nature involving children and has an enviable record in the cross-examining child witnesses. Kirstin enjoys dealing with vulnerable defendants including the mentally ill and those unfamiliar with the court process.  She is familiar with the law regarding fitness to plead and hospital orders.

Kirstin heads the Family Team and conducts cases covering all areas of public and private law.  She has recently found an interest in the law surrounding foreign marriage and divorce.

Kirstin accepts instructions on a wide cross section of civil law.  She is particularly adept at finding answers to unusual legal queries from instructing solicitors.
