Acquittals in R v Chorlton & Others

Following detailed analysis of complex financial evidence, all defendant’s submitted written applications inviting the Court to dismiss the charges with particular reference made to the leading authority of Anwoir [2008] EWCA Crim 1354.
After listening to oral submissions, HHJ Smith sitting at Bolton Crown Court, ruled that there was no case to answer against any of the defendants.
